FSU men’s and women’s track and field season return to competition for the 2012 campaign
The Ferris State runners are back in action for another go around in 2012 as selected members of the team participated in a scrimmage-type event hosted by Grand Valley State University.
The un-scored Bob Eubanks Open featured athletes from numerous colleges including Michigan State, South Florida and Notre Dame among others. (more…)

Ferris is racking up wins as they resume GLIAC play
The Bulldogs have compiled a 7–1 conference record up to this point of the season.
The Bulldogs came back to Big Rapids to face non-conference foe Urbana University on Jan. 11. Ferris’ defense kept Urbana under 50 points and forced them to shoot 30-percent from the field, while the Bulldogs went on to win 82–47. The game featured 10 steals, 48 rebounds, and 25 points scored off of turnovers for the Bulldogs. (more…)
Overtime Success
FSU men’s basketball team defeats Northwood 74-69 in overtime win
Fans were treated to an extra five minutes of Bulldog basketball as the Ferris State University men’s basketball team defeated Northwood University 74–69 in overtime Saturday afternoon at Jim Wink Arena.
The conference win moved the Bulldogs into a share of first place in the divisional standings. FSU improved to 9–6 overall and 6–2 in GLIAC action this campaign. (more…)

Two Bulldog hockey players up for prestigious Hobey Baker Award
Senior defenseman, who always serves as captain, Chad Billens and senior goaltender Taylor Nelson are two of the top 77 players who were nominated for the Hobey Baker award. This award is annually given to the nation’s top hockey player. Hobey Baker was a top hockey player at Princeton University and a World War I veteran. The Hobey Baker award not only reflects a player’s talents and achievements on the ice, but also the character and integrity of the athlete off of the ice.
