On Feb. 10 at 9 p.m., there was a report of a stolen iPod from the Rock Café.
Reckless Driving
On Feb. 11 at 12:40 a.m., officers stopped a car for wreck less driving in Lot 28. The driver was ticketed for careless driving and possession of marijuana. (more…)
Vehicle Broken Into
On Feb. 3 at 12:38 a.m., officers noticed a suspicious person in Lot 4 near the vehicles. Further investigation revealed a suspect and identified a victim whose vehicle was broken into by the suspect. Stolen property was recovered. Suspect was sent to the Office of Student Conduct and the prosecutor’s office for charges. (more…)
Attempted Robbery
On Jan. 22, in the West Campus Apartments, there were two subjects (one with a gun) who threatened occupants in a robbery. The subjects were lodged in the county jail. No one was hurt. The handgun has been recovered. The two subjects are scheduled for court on Feb. 2.
Disorderly Subject
On Jan. 27 at 4:30 p.m., there was a report of a disorderly subject in Cramer Hall. The subject punched a hole in the wall prior to the officer’s arrival. (more…)
Marijuana Use
On Jan. 20 at 11:15 p.m., there was a report of a subject using marijuana in Lot 4. Three subjects were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.
Missing Purse
On Jan. 19 at 3:30 p.m., there was a report of theft complaint at the Rock Café. A purse was stolen from a cloak room.
Marijuana Complaint
On Jan. 18 at 11:10 p.m., officers assisted hall staff with a marijuana complaint in McNerny Hall. Matters were referred to the hall staff to handle.
Someone Else’s Belongings
On Jan. 18 at 5:15 p.m., officers received a civil complaint about two students in Clark Hall. Clothing was loaned and not returned. The student later received some items.
MIP
On Jan. 17 at 2:20 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Campus Drive for failure to stop at a sign. The passenger was found to be a Minor in Possion (MIP) and was ticketed for the same.
Suspended License
On Jan. 15 at 3 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Ferris Drive for failure to stop at sign. The driver’s license was suspended and was ticketed for the same.
Hit and Run
On Jan. 14 at 12:25 p.m., there was a report of a hit and run in Lot 4.
Suspicious Door Damage
On Jan. 14 at 10:20 a.m., there was a report of vehicle damage to a passenger door in Lot 2.
Accidents Happen
On Jan. 14 at 1:12 p.m., there was a two car accident in Lot 68.
Stolen Camera
On Jan. 14 at 7 p.m., there was a report of a camera stolen from a room in Cramer Hall. Investigation still continues.
Disorderly Complaint
On Jan. 14 at 7:15 p.m., there was a report of a disorderly complaint at the Rock Café. The behavior concerned a stolen backpack. One party accused the other of theft. They were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.
Ticket Totals
From Jan. 15 to the 21, the department of public safety identified 525 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $8,950. Actual amount depends on whether each ticket was paid, voided, or reduced.
On Jan. 13 at 11:40 a.m., there was a report of bicycle damage. The bicycle was parked at a bike rack at the SE corner of South Bond when an unknown person knocked the bike over and stomped on the wheel. No suspects.

On Dec. 2 at 10 p.m., officers assisted hall staff with a marijuana complaint in Ward Hall. Three students were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.
On Dec. 3 at 1 a.m., officers assisted hall staff in Bond Hall with a marijuana complaint. Three students were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.
On Dec. 1 at 9:25 a.m., officers assisted the city police with a hit and run car/pedestrian accident at Perry and State Street. A student was crossing on East State Street walking south bound when they were struck by a vehicle making a left turn into campus. The driver fled the scene without being identified. On Nov. 12 at 6:28 p.m., officers responded to Lot 24. A male was spotted checking car doors. Everyone is advised to lock their vehicles upon leaving.
On Nov. 16 at 4:40 p.m., there was a report of a hit and run in Lot 32. No suspects.
On Nov. 16 at 6:00 p.m., there was a larceny complaint of street signs in Lot 5. Someone took all of the signs off of their posts. No suspects.

On Nov. 11 at 8 p.m., there was a report of a fight at the Rock Café. The two subjects were identified and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.
On Nov. 11 at 2:25 p.m., there was a report of a domestic assault in Pickell Hall. The parties were located and the females were lodged in the county jail.
On Nov. 11 at 11:40 a.m., there was a report of people removing Torch newspapers from buildings around campus. Officers searched the campus and did not locate the subjects. Investigation continues.
