Unwanted con­tact

On Nov. 4 at 11:30 a.m., there was a report of unwanted con­tact between a uni­ver­sity employee and a stu­dent in Vandercook Hall. The report has been for­warded to the prosecutor’s office for a warrant.

Marijuana com­plaint

On Nov. 3 at 3:30 a.m., offi­cers assisted Hallisy Hall staff with a mar­i­juana com­plaint. Four sub­jects were referred to the office of stu­dent conduct.

Officers assist

On Nov. 1 at 8:30 p.m., offi­cers assisted the sheriff’s depart­ment with a three-car crash in front of Walmart.

Breaking and entering

On Nov. 2 at 1:50 a.m., offi­cers assisted city police with a res­i­den­tial break­ing and enter­ing com­plaint. One sub­ject was lodged in the county jail.

Vehicle dam­age

On Nov. 4 at 7 p.m., there was a report of a vehi­cle dam­aged on the bike rack near Taggart Hall.

Gas smell

On Nov. 4 at 8:45 p.m., offi­cers assisted the fire depart­ment with a gas smell in West Campus Apartments.

Stolen coat

On Nov. 5 at 9:50 p.m., there was a report of a coat taken from the Student Rec Center.

Intoxicated sub­ject

On Nov.1 at 5:20 a.m., there was a report of an intox­i­cated sub­ject at Arts and Science Commons. The sub­ject was trans­ferred to the hospital.

Stolen lap­top

On Oct. 31 at 4:20 p.m., there was a report of a lap­top stolen from Cramer Hall.

Brophy Hall fight

On Nov. 2 at 2:45 a.m., there was a report of a fight in Brophy Hall. Three sub­jects were referred to the office of stu­dent con­duct. Multiple war­rant requests were sent to the prosecutor’s office.

Drunk dri­ver

On Nov. 3 at 2:30 a.m., offi­cers stopped a vehi­cle for defec­tive equip­ment on State Street near Ferris Drive. The dri­ver was found to be intox­i­cated and was lodged in the county jail.

Suspicious sit­u­a­tion

On Nov. 2 at 1:30 a.m., offi­cers inves­ti­gated a sus­pi­cious sit­u­a­tion in Lot 61. Two sub­jects were lodged in the county jail for pos­ses­sion of marijuana.

Obstructing police

On Nov. 7 at 12:15 a.m., offi­cers stopped a vehi­cle for an improper turn on Ferris Drive. One sub­ject was lodged in the county jail for obstruct­ing police.

Runaways recov­ered

On Oct. 30 at 4:20 p.m., offi­cers assisted Eagle Village employ­ees in recov­er­ing a run­away. The sub­ject was located on campus.

Malicious destruc­tion

On Nov. 3 at 1:55 a.m., offi­cers assisted the city police with a mali­cious destruc­tion of prop­erty com­plaint on Fuller Avenue.

Erratic dri­ving

On Oct. 30 at 9:30 p.m., offi­cers stopped a vehi­cle in Applebee’s park­ing lot for erratic dri­ving. Two sub­jects were referred to the office of stu­dent con­duct for pos­ses­sion of marijuana.

Fight on Damascus

On Nov. 3 at 5:30 p.m., there was a report of fight pos­si­bly involv­ing a gun on Damascus Street near East Campus Apartments. The sub­jects were located and no weapon was involved in the altercation.

Ticket Totals: From Oct. 31 to Nov. 7, the Department of Public Safety reported 446 vio­la­tions. Each vio­la­tor was tick­eted for a total of $7,730. The actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
