Captain Jim Cook of Ferris Department of Public Safety confirmed the male was a Ferris
student. After the fall, the student suffered a broken leg. Cook said he did not any other

Wednesday morning at FLITE, there was a situation involving a male falling off a ladder while doing an inspection on the heating and cooling system on the roof.

Captain Jim Cook of Ferris Department of Public Safety it was to his understanding the male was on the ladder conducting the inspection when he fell from the ladder. Cook said he has not spoken to the officer who was on the scene.

“We don’t know his injuries,” Cook said. Cook also said they needed to use the city fire truck that had the ladder to get him down.
