Stolen prop­erty

Jan. 30 at 4 p.m., report of a stolen touch pad from Bond Hall.

Larceny com­plaint

Jan. 31 at 11 p.m., report of lar­ceny of cloth­ing in South Bond. Property was stolen on first floor in the laun­dry room.

Illegal entry

Jan. 30 at 9:45 p.m., report of ille­gal entry to res­i­dent room in Hallisy Hall, no prop­erty was taken. Subject was iden­ti­fied and referred to Office of Student Conduct.

Possession of marijuana

Feb. 3 at 10 p.m., offi­cers stopped a vehi­cle for equip­ment vio­la­tion on State Street near Perry Street. Driver was arrested for pos­ses­sion of marijuana.

Careless dri­ving

Feb. 3 at 3:30 a.m., offi­cers stopped a vehi­cle on State Street near South Street for care­less dri­ving. Driver was intox­i­cated and lodged in county jail for OWI.

Littering

Feb. 2 at 8:05 p.m., report of a sus­pi­cious vehi­cle in Lot 71, one sub­ject was tick­eted for littering.

Noise com­plaint

Feb. 2 at 9:15 p.m., loud noise com­plaint at West Campus apart­ments. Subjects play­ing musi­cal instru­ments were asked to quiet down.

Damage in park­ing lot

Feb. 2 at 5:30 p.m., vehi­cle dam­aged in Lot 61 on dri­ver side door, parked vehi­cle was damaged.

Suspended license

Feb. 3 at 7:25 p.m., offi­cers stopped a vehi­cle on North Campus Drive near Lot 27 for stop sign vio­la­tion and expired plate. Driver was tick­eted for sus­pended license.

MIP

Feb. 3 at 11:30 p.m., offi­cers approached group of peo­ple at Ives Street near Swan Building for pos­si­ble MIP. Two sub­jects were given MIP and one sub­ject was arrested for obstruct­ing police.

Intoxicated and warrants

Feb. 6 at 2:50 a.m., offi­cers stopped vehi­cle on State Street for defec­tive equip­ment. Driver found to be intox­i­cated and lodged in county jail. Passenger had war­rants and was also lodged in county jail.

Stolen Taco Bell property

Feb. 4 at 2:35 a.m., offi­cers observed a per­son walk­ing along State Street car­ry­ing stolen prop­erty. Property was returned to Taco Bell restau­rant and sub­ject was lodged in county jail.

More pos­ses­sion of marijuana

Feb. 2 at 3:35 p.m., offi­cers sus­pected sus­pi­cious activ­ity in Lot 44. Officers con­tacted sub­ject in vehi­cle, and sub­ject found to have pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana and was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Firework com­plaint

Feb. 5 at 3:20 a.m., offi­cers assisted city police for a fire­work com­plaint at Oak and Michigan Street. Officers located sub­ject who had city war­rant and was lodged in county jail.

Stolen prop­erty

Feb. 6 at 8:30 p.m., report of stolen cloth­ing and wal­let were taken from unlocked locker at the Student Rec Center.

Stolen money

Feb. 3 at 9 a.m., report of prop­erty stolen from busi­ness build­ing, $20 was taken from a woman’s jacket and black duf­fle bag.

Ticket Totals: From Jan. 31 through Feb. 7, the Department of Public Safety iden­ti­fied 396 vio­la­tors. Each vio­la­tor was tick­eted for a total of $6,265. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
