Apartments can be a better option for FSU students

Spending a major­ity of their col­lege expe­ri­ence in Ferris’ res­i­dence halls, at some point, most col­lege stu­dents will make the tran­si­tion to liv­ing off campus.

An impor­tant part of being a col­lege stu­dent is find­ing your own free­dom. Freedom is what most Ferris stu­dents hope to find by the time they throw their grad­u­a­tion caps in the air. I feel I per­son­ally got that free­dom when choos­ing to spend a year liv­ing off cam­pus. (more…)

Armed Robber’s Sketch Released

The Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office has released a foren­sic sketch of the sub­ject respon­si­ble for an armed rob­bery of the Remus Pharmacy.

The sus­pect is described as a 6-foot tall white male, 25–35 years of age, with short dark facial hair and black-rimmed-square glasses. The sus­pect was wear­ing a black hoodie and gray sweat pants with a black stripe down the legs. (more…)

Breaking the Bad Habits

“Study” is a word all col­lege stu­dents will say almost every day through­out their years at Ferris as there is always some­thing to “study” for.

While study­ing is impor­tant and aides in the suc­cess of receiv­ing A’s, acing projects, quizzes and tests, it often becomes repet­i­tive, tedious and leads to some­thing that all of us do at one point or another: pro­cras­ti­nate. With pro­cras­ti­na­tion, poor study habits can arise. (more…)
