Apartments can be a better option for FSU students

Spending a majority of their college experience in Ferris’ residence halls, at some point, most college students will make the transition to living off campus.

An important part of being a college student is finding your own freedom. Freedom is what most Ferris students hope to find by the time they throw their graduation caps in the air. I feel I personally got that freedom when choosing to spend a year living off campus. (more…)

Armed Robber’s Sketch Released

The Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office has released a forensic sketch of the subject responsible for an armed robbery of the Remus Pharmacy.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot tall white male, 25–35 years of age, with short dark facial hair and black-rimmed-square glasses. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie and gray sweat pants with a black stripe down the legs. (more…)

Breaking the Bad Habits

“Study” is a word all college students will say almost every day throughout their years at Ferris as there is always something to “study” for.

While studying is important and aides in the success of receiving A’s, acing projects, quizzes and tests, it often becomes repetitive, tedious and leads to something that all of us do at one point or another: procrastinate. With procrastination, poor study habits can arise. (more…)
