Ferris’ Tournament Run Ends in Sweet 16
Bulldogs fall to region #1 Bellarmine
It was a magical run for the Bulldogs this postseason, but it has all come to an end after an 85–66 defeat at the hands Bellarmine on March 15.
The Bulldogs made their exit from the NCAA Tournament as the Knights outscored Ferris 48–27 in the second half to pull away with the victory. Ferris trailed 39–37 at halftime. (more…)

Since its unveiling last January, the Tabu Lounge—a members-only club that offers exotic dancing—immediately caught public attention.
Located within Fantasies Unlimited, just south of town in Big Rapids, the lounge offers patrons—18 years and older—what had previously been missing in the area: live, adult entertainment. (more…)
State of Emergency
It happens without warning: One minute all is “normal” in the world and the next minute disaster.
On the morning of March 11, a 23-foot wall of water slammed into the Japanese coast and devastated the city of Sendai. An 8.9-magnitude earthquake, the largest to ever strike Japan, caused a massive tsunami that has killed more than 1,800 people and injured more than 1,900 people. (more…)

FSU students may see a reduction in the Pell Grant

Out of the over 12,000 students who attend Ferris, more than 10,000 students receive financial assistance, and 6,161 students receive aid from the Pell Grant. (more…)

Sexual activity in residence halls gives the term “dorm-mates” a whole new meaning
“It’s pretty much a biological thing. They’ve been doing it since the cave men, so let them keep doing it,” said a Puterbaugh Hall sophomore in pre-pharmacy.
But doing what, exactly? When referring to the few innate biological instincts of man (and woman), there’s one drive that probably comes to the college student’s mind, and sometimes, undesirably, to their ears: sex. (more…)

Last week Facebook stated that they are moving forward in allowing third party companies to access users’ addresses and phone numbers.

“Trashed” is a five-star event coming to campus that will entertain students into thinking about how alcohol may be affecting their lives.
Wendi Fox is a former high-risk drinker who now makes a living off of her entertaining stand-up comedy acts that focus around alcohol and the impact it can have on people. (more…)

Ferris overcame an early three-goal deficit to the Broncos, forcing overtime on March 13 in the third game of the quarterfinal match-up. But No. 15-ranked Western Michigan prevailed during overtime defeating Ferris State 5–4. (more…)
