A round-up of recent crime across the FSU campus

Equipment issues

Nov. 24 at 1:45 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Chestnut near State Street for equipment violation. Two occupants of the vehicle were found to be MIP and were ticketed.

Domestic disturbance

Nov. 20 at 11:35 p.m., officers assisted city police with domestic disturbance on the 700 Block of Woodward Avenue.

Car crash

Nov. 20 at 2:15 p.m., officers assisted city police with personal injury car crash at Maple and 2nd Avenue.

MIP on Cedar and State

Nov. 20 at 1:35 a.m., officers observed two intoxicated subjects walking west on Cedar and State Street. One subject was ticketed for MIP.

Car-pedestrian crash

Nov. 21 at 12:05 p.m., officers assisted city police with car-pedestrian crash at South Street and Knollview Drive.

Warrant at Wesco

Nov. 21 at 9 p.m., officers served an arrest warrant at the Wesco convenience store in town.

Domestic assault

Nov. 22, there was a report of a domestic assault that occurred three days prior. Victim and suspect both interviewed and warrant request was sent to prosecutor’s office.

OWI on Warren and Maple

Nov. 22 at 11:50 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Warren near Maple Street for defective equipment. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was lodged in county jail for OWI.

Vehicle damaged in Lot 7

Nov. 21 at 9:35 a.m., there was a report of a vehicle damaged in Lot 7. Passenger side rearview mirror was broken off the car.

Large fight

Nov. 25 at 4 p.m., officers assisted city police with a large fight at Water Town road near Fuller Avenue.

Civil dispute

Nov. 26 at 11:05 p.m., officers responded to West Campus Apartments for civil dispute. People involved were separated and seek remedy through the courts.

Ticket Totals: From November 22 through the 29, the Department of Public Safety identified 139 violators. Each violator was ticketed for a total of $2,260. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided or reduced.
