The Lady Bulldogs con­tin­ued their recent stretch of top fin­ishes by fin­ish­ing third at the Detroit Titans Invitational.

Ferris tal­lied a three-round 1,006 score to secure a top-three fin­ish at the week­end tournament(April 11–12) that included five other com­pet­ing teams. Oakland University took home first-place hon­ors for team play.

The Bulldog effort was paced by fresh­man Jacqueline DeBoer, as she took home fifth-place(245, +30) for the week­end. Junior Blaize Baumgartner fol­lowed behind in sixth-place(246, +31).

On the week­end, six Bulldog golfers fin­ished in the top 20.

Ferris was sched­uled to return to the links(April 17) to com­pete in the Northwood Invitational at the Currie Golf Course in Midland, Mich., but inclement weather forced a can­cel­la­tion of the event.

The Bulldogs will now get ready to bat­tle con­fer­ence foes at the  2011 GLIAC Championships (April 22–23) in Ashland, Ohio.
