The men’s team fared decently as it claimed the 8th overall spot with 213 points. Finishing first for the Bulldogs was Sophomore Michael Schulte, who took 32nd place with a time of 26:23.9 in the 8k race.

“We worked more as a team in this meet more than any other meet and that helped us out a lot,” said Chute. “This meet was conferences so it was a bit more serious and so we ran more focused. The team improves meet to meet and I’m excited for regionals in two weeks so we can continue to improve.”

The Bulldogs will compete again in the NCAA-II Midwest Regional competition on Saturday, Nov. 20 in Louisville, Ky. n
