The Bulldogs saw their 13-point fourth-quarter lead evaporate on Saturday as the Indianapolis Greyhounds scored 17 unanswered points to steal the victory.

Ferris is 5–4 overall and 5–3 in conference play after losing its third consecutive game on Saturday. The Bulldogs had won five straight contests prior to their current losing streak.

Ferris led 33–20 after three quarters of play and looked to have its sixth victory all but locked up. The Greyhounds rallied with 10 points to cut the Bulldog lead to 33–30 with 5:28 left in the game. After Ferris failed to keep the chains moving, Indianapolis marched 67 yards for the game-winning score with less than a minute left.

Bulldog junior quarterback Tom Schneider led team with 24 of 31 passing for 207 yards and no interceptions. Sophomore running back Skyler Stoker racked up 88 yards and touchdown on eight carries.

Seven Bulldog fumbles and 70 penalty yards ultimately cost the team in the end.

Ferris returns home on Nov. 6 as it will take on the Michigan Tech Huskies on Senior Day, the final home game of the regular season. Michigan Tech knocked off nationally No. 1-ranked Grand Valley State 20–17 on Saturday. The Bulldogs are tied for fifth in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference standings following the loss. Michigan Tech is tied for second with a 6–2 conference record.
