Ferris holds on for second victory of the season

The Bulldogs earned back-to-back victories for the first time since September 2008 with 34-28 victory over the Ohio Dominican Panthers on Saturday.

Ferris improved to 2-1 overall this season and 2-0 in GLIAC play.  The Bulldogs scored three first-half touchdowns three different ways to open up a 21-6 lead at the half. The Panthers responded with two unanswered touchdowns in the third quarter, but Ferris held on with a late interception once again.The Bulldogs gained 204 yards rushing, while holding the Panthers to 30 yards on the ground. Ferris fumbled the ball three times, but did not allow a sack in the game. The Bulldogs forced two interceptions and returned a blocked field goal attempt for a touchdown.

Ohio Dominican is 0-2 overall in its first season as a member of the GLIAC.
