Register Today

I’m not a per­son who is deeply inter­ested in pol­i­tics, but there is one thing I never for­get to do: vote.

Voting is a right that every American cit­i­zen has and one that each per­son should not take lightly. Voter reg­is­tra­tion has taken place on cam­pus for the last week or so and there will be table set up in the quad on Sept. 29 where you can reg­is­ter as well. (more…)

As a cru­cial elec­tion for the Michigan gov­er­nor approaches, Ferris stu­dents have the chance to reg­is­ter to vote at the north quad.

From 10 a.m.-6 p.m., there will be a pavil­ion set up next to the Woodbridge Ferris Statue where stu­dents can reg­is­ter to vote. (more…)

 
 

Case of Whooping Cough Identified

A con­firmed case of per­tus­sis (whoop­ing cough) was iden­ti­fied in a stu­dent last week, accord­ing to Ferris officials.

In a press release on Sept. 21, the uni­ver­sity had reported news of the case. It was noted in the release that the stu­dent is being treated with antibi­otics and is no longer con­ta­gious. (more…)

Hockey Season Preview (Offense/Defense)

The Bulldogs return 20 letter-winners for the 2010-11 sea­son, includ­ing eight seniors, eight juniors, and four sophomores.

Ferris lost six key con­trib­u­tors to the team’s offense, includ­ing point-leader Blair Riley. The team also lost two-year cap­tain Cody Chupp and seniors Casey Haines and Aaron Lewicki. However, Ferris will still have the major­ity of its offense intact. (more…)
