Two-car Accident

On Feb 24 at 9:55 a.m., there was a two-car acci­dent near the West Building. A car backed out and hit another vehicle.

Bumper Cars

On Feb 24 at 10 a.m., there was a two car acci­dent in Lot 38. A vehi­cle struck another parked vehicle.

Club Commotion

On Feb 25 at 2:25 a.m., offi­cers assisted the Sheriff’s Department with a large fight at the Odyssey.

Stolen Items

On Feb 22 at 7:20 p.m., there was a report of lar­ceny from a vehi­cle com­plaint in Lot 23.

Marijuana Complaint

On Feb 23 at 12:10 a.m., offi­cers assisted hall staff at Cramer Hall with a mar­i­juana com­plaint. A war­rant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office for two sub­jects. Three peo­ple were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Suspicious Smell

On Feb 24 at 1:20 a.m., offi­cers assisted hall staff at Clark Hall with a mar­i­juana com­plaint. One sub­ject was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Blind Spot

On Feb 20 at 12:20 p.m., there was a two vehi­cle acci­dent in Lot 39. A bus backed into a parked car.

Hit and Run

On Feb 19 at 6:20 a.m., there was a report of a hit and run in Lot 6.

Uncooperative per­son

On Feb 19 at 9:50 p.m., offi­cers assisted staff at the Student Recreation Center with a sub­ject refus­ing to leave. The per­son was removed from the building.

Disorderly People

On Feb 21 at 9:30 p.m., offi­cers assisted hall staff at Bond Hall with dis­or­derly sub­jects. The mat­ter was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Intoxicated Driver

On Feb 20 at 1:50 a.m., a vehi­cle was stopped on Ferris Drive for fail­ure to stop at a stop sign. The dri­ver was intox­i­cated and lodged in the county jail for OWI.

MIP in Vandercook

On Feb 21 at 1:20 a.m., there was a report of an intox­i­cated sub­ject in Vandercook Hall. The sub­ject was tick­eted for MIP.

Larceny Complaint

On Feb 18 at 4:15 p.m., there was a report of lar­ceny from and auto­mo­bile com­plaint in Lot 47.

Young Love Gone Bad

On Feb 18 at 9 p.m., there was a report of a harass­ment com­plaint. The subject’s ex-boyfriend was harass­ing her. The two par­ties were told to leave each other alone.

Ticket Totals

From Feb 19 through Mar 1, the Department of Public Safety iden­ti­fied 440 vio­la­tors. Each vio­la­tor was tick­eted for the total of $7,280. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided, or reduced. n
