Stolen iPod

On Feb. 10 at 9 p.m., there was a report of a stolen iPod from the Rock Café.

Reckless Driving

On Feb. 11 at 12:40 a.m., offi­cers stopped a car for wreck less dri­ving in Lot 28. The dri­ver was tick­eted for care­less dri­ving and pos­ses­sion of marijuana.

Disorderly Persons

On Feb. 11 at 2:20 a.m., there was a report of dis­or­derly per­sons in Taggart Hall. Two sub­jects were tick­eted for MIP and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Vanished Vending

On Feb. 9 at 1:30 p.m., there was a report of theft from vend­ing machines in the Alumni, Auto cen­ter, and Plastics build­ings. No suspects.

Auto Theft

On Feb. 5 at 5 p.m., there was a report of theft from an auto­mo­bile com­plaint in Lot 4. No suspects.

Missing Plates

On Feb. 7 at 6:45 p.m., there was a report of a stolen license plate in Lot 47.

Marijuana Complaint

On Feb. 7 at 10 p.m., there was a report of mar­i­juana com­plaint in Bond Hall. One sub­ject was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Disturbing Smell

On Feb. 6 at 4:20 p.m., there was a report of mar­i­juana com­plaint in Ward Hall. Two sub­jects were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Intoxicated Subject

On Feb. 7 at 1:15 a.m., there was a report of an intox­i­cated sub­ject in Bond Hall. On sub­ject was tick­eted for MIP.

Restricted License

On Feb. 6 at 1:20 a.m., offi­cers did a traf­fic stop on Michigan Ave near Oak Street for defec­tive equip­ment. Two sub­jects were tick­eted for MIP. The dri­ver was tick­eted for dri­ving on a restricted license.

Parking Notice

The Department of Public Safety sent out cam­pus wide emails to inform stu­dents and other dri­vers to be aware of the signs in park­ing lots around cam­pus and to make sure that you know where and where not to park. If you are parked in an incor­rect loca­tion you may be issued a ticket. To pre­vent this, please pay atten­tion to the signs and notice that changes have been made to some park­ing lots which may include Lot 2, 27, 39, and 19.

Ticket Totals

From Feb. 4 through the 11, the Department of Public Safety iden­ti­fied 404 vio­la­tors. Each vio­la­tor was tick­eted for a total of $6,930. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided, or reduced.
