A round up of this week’s crime across the FSU campus

Rumble in the Rock Café

On Nov. 11 at 8 p.m., there was a report of a fight at the Rock Café. The two sub­jects were iden­ti­fied and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Females Fighting

On Nov. 11 at 2:25 p.m., there was a report of a domes­tic assault in Pickell Hall. The par­ties were located and the females were lodged in the county jail.

Students Stealing Papers

On Nov. 11 at 11:40 a.m., there was a report of peo­ple remov­ing Torch news­pa­pers from build­ings around cam­pus. Officers searched the cam­pus and did not locate the sub­jects. Investigation con­tin­ues.

Illegal Partying

On Nov. 8 at 2:30 a.m., offi­cers assisted hall staff at Henderson Hall con­cern­ing a party. Seven sub­jects were tick­eted for Minor in Possesion (MIP).

Domestic Assault

On Nov. 9 at 5 p.m., there was a report of a domes­tic assault in the North Campus Apartments. The vic­tim stated that her hus­band assaulted her on Nov. 1 and Nov. 7. The inci­dent was turned over to the prosecutor’s office for a warrant.

Disorderly Subject

On Nov. 9 at 12 p.m., there was a report of a dis­or­derly sub­ject on the sec­ond floor of the FLITE Library. The non-student was removed from the building.

Marijuana Complaint

On Nov. 8 at 12:45 a.m., offi­cers assisted hall staff at Ward Hall for a mar­i­juana com­plaint. The sub­ject was iden­ti­fied and referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

MIP

On Nov. 7 at 2:50 a.m., offi­cers con­ducted a traf­fic stop at North Campus Drive. The vehicle’s head­lights were not turned on. The two vehi­cle occu­pants were found to be Minor in Posession (MIP) and tick­eted for same.

Suspended License

On Nov. 6 at 11 p.m., offi­cers stopped vehi­cle on Travis Circle for defec­tive equip­ment. The driver’s license was sus­pended and he was tick­eted for the same.

That’s My Shirt!

On Nov. 6 at 3:30 p.m., offi­cers were sent to the Rock Café for a lar­ceny com­plaint. A sweat­shirt was stolen and was observed on a per­son in the build­ing. The prop­erty was recov­ered and a war­rant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office.

Stolen Lunch

On Nov. 6 at 8:30 a.m., there was a report of a stolen cell phone and lunch box from the cus­to­dial closet on the first floor of the FLITE Library.

River Rock Brawl

On Nov. 6 at 2:15 a.m., offi­cers responded to assist the city police with a large fight at the River Rock Bar.

Rumble in the Rankin

On Nov. 5 at 8:30 p.m., there was a report of a fight in the Rankin Center. The sub­jects were iden­ti­fied and a war­rant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office. Both stu­dents were referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Ticket Totals

From Nov. 5 through the 11, the Department of Public Safety iden­ti­fied 420 vio­la­tors. Each vio­la­tor was tick­eted for a total of $7,010. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided, or reduced.
