A round up of this week’s crime across the FSU campus

Mysterious Call

On Sept. 29 at 11:45 a.m., there was a report of a harass­ment phone call com­plaint at West Campus Apartment. No suspects.

Unknown Call

On Sept. 29 at 12:30 p.m., there was a report of a harass­ment phone call com­plaint at McNerny Hall. No suspects.

Harassment Complaint

On Sept. 30 at 9:30 p.m., offi­cers responded to a harass­ment com­plaint in Henderson Hall.

Breaking and Entering

On Sept. 24 at 5:15 p.m., offi­cers inves­ti­gated a Breaking and Entering of a vend­ing machine in the Flite Library. Investigation continues.

Suspicious People

On Sept. 24 at 11:55 p.m., offi­cers observed two sus­pi­cious peo­ple in Lot 39. The sus­pects were found loi­ter­ing in the con­struc­tion area of the South Campus Apartments. They were turned over to the Office of Student Conduct.

Cat Fight

On Sept. 29 at 3:05 p.m., there was a civil dis­pute between two females in Lot 36.

Disorderly Person

On Sept. 27 at 11:20 p.m., offi­cers inves­ti­gated a dis­or­derly per­son com­plaint in South Bond Hall.

Disorderly Females

On Sept. 26 at 5:55 p.m., there was a report of dis­or­derly females at the Rock Café.

Stealing Meals

On Sept. 30 at 9:30 p.m., offi­cers assisted work­ers at the Rock Café for improper use of meal plans.

Marijuana Complaint

On Sept. 28 at 12:30 a.m., offi­cers inves­ti­gated a mar­i­juana com­plaint at McNerny Hall. A war­rant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office.

Wrong Way

On Sept. 25 at 11:05 p.m., offi­cers stopped a vehi­cle at Lot 36 off of State Street, for trav­el­ing the wrong direc­tion on a one-way road. The dri­ver was also found to be dri­ving on a sus­pended license and was ticketed.

Domestic Violence

On Sept. 25 at 9:30 p.m., offi­cers arrested a sub­ject on a bench war­rant (fail­ure to appear in court) on a domes­tic vio­lence charge.

Disturbing the Peace

Officers arrested a sub­ject on a war­rant for fail­ure to appear in court on a dis­turb­ing the peace charge.

Stolen Bike

On Sept. 30 at 2:20 p.m., there was a report of a stolen bike found at the Rock. The sus­pect was iden­ti­fied and a war­rant request was sent to the prosecutor’s office.

Power line down

On Sept. 28 at 4:10 p.m., a power line was found down near the Sports Complex from the winds that day.

Electrical Issues

On Sept. 28 at 10:40 p.m., offi­cers assisted the rac­quet facil­ity employ­ees with elec­tri­cal prob­lems. The fire depart­ment checked the build­ing and it was turned over to the elec­tri­cians on campus.

Reckless dri­ver

On Sept. 29 at 1p.m., Ferris offi­cers assisted the Sheriff Department with a reck­less dri­ver on Northland and Gilbert Road.

Stolen iPod

On Sept. 29 at 4:40 p.m., there was a report of a stolen IPOD from Bond Hall. No suspects.

Stolen Cell Phone

On Sept. 23 at 4:45 p.m., there was a report of a stolen cell phone from the Rock Café. No suspects.

Stolen Bike from UREC

On Sept. 24 at 3 p.m., there was a report of a stolen bike from the Student Recreation Center. No suspects.

Ticket Totals

From Sept. 24 through Oct. 1, the depart­ment of pub­lic safety iden­ti­fied 484 vio­la­tors. Each vio­la­tor was tick­eted for a total of $8, 405. Actual amount depends on whether the ticket was paid, voided, or reduced.
